Getting my work out to the public, to share and learn

About

Christopher Dean Young

Creativity flows in my blood or at least I’m trying to find it. My father is an artist and I’m looking to see if I received a few of those genes.

I have actually been taking pictures for a very long time. My first camera was a folding Polaroid at age 7. It was when that first picture came out of the camera and developed before my eyes that I fell in love with Photography.

Today there is just no excuse for not taking pictures, but it takes more than just having a camera (even a good one) to produce a photo that speaks. I take photos as a hobby and to let my creative side communicate, but I’m starting to require more.

I created this Photo Blog to get my photos out of my home computer and into the wild. I also wanted a place to share my thoughts, ideas and experiences with Photography.

I would very much like to have comments and constructive criticisms placed with my photos/posts so I can find out if I received any of those creative genes of my father and work towards improvement and thus getting my photos to speak for themself.

Hope you enjoy.

    Hey Chris,

Your photos are wonderful. You seem to have inherited more than a bit of your father’s eye.

I hope all is well with you.
